MTA to exempt much of NYC fleet, private bus lines, Hampton Jitney from $15 congestion toll

Specialized city vehicles and most private bus operators, including those like the Hampton Jitney, are exempt from the new congestion toll in NYC.

The MTA plans to include exemptions for private bus operators in the final tolling proposal, set to be presented to the board this week.
