An unidentified male boarded the bus, entered a verbal argument with the driver, and then punched the driver multiple times in the face. The suspect exited the bus and ran eastbound on Church Avenue. EMS treated the driver for pain, bruising, and facial swelling. Police released surveillance images of a male last seen wearing a gray jacket, black sweatpants, and white sneakers, and asked anyone with information to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
