Nicole Boodhai, 28, has been arrested and charged with murder and endangering the welfare of a child after a one-year-old died in a Queens home. Police responded Monday just after 1:30 p.m. to a 911 call reporting an assault at 108-33 157th St. Officers found Charlie Ramraykha, 1, unconscious and unresponsive and discovered Boodhai with slash wounds to her wrist. EMS transported both to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where Ramraykha was pronounced deceased. Boodhai was taken for medical treatment and is expected to recover. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
