Insp Charles Ehikioya, chair of the Metropolitan Police's Black Police Association, faces serious charges of fabricated racist WhatsApp messages designed to damage his reputation.
Mr Yeo emphasized that terms used in the messages were 'intrinsically linked' to slavery and highlighted that PC Francisco was part of a 'vile, racist group' targeting Insp Ehikioya.
The insistence that the messages were fabricated was labeled 'plainly nonsense' by James Berry, as he pointed out the absence of any credible motive.
Insp Ehikioya's representation maintained that he is not a racist and has actively fought racism, suggesting he was targeted due to his position.
