Oliver Campbell's wrongful conviction for the 1990 murder of Baldev Hoondle has been quashed by judges who declared it 'unsafe', allowing him to rebuild his life.

Lord Justice Holroyde stated the judges concluded the convictions were unsafe, taking into account the undue pressure on Campbell that led to his confession, which was misinformed by media.
