"BROOKLYN, NY - A random attacker stabbed and robbed a straphanger on a Brooklyn subway train last week, police said, asking the public for help identifying the suspect. The 25-year-old victim was riding a Manhattan-bound N train approaching the 86th Street station around 2:20 a.m. on Feb. 7 when the unidentified suspect demanded his wallet and money, police said. When the victim refused, the suspect pulled a knife and slashed him across the head, face, back and knee, police said."
"He then snatched the man's wallet and fled into the 86th Street station as the train pulled in. EMS arrived and rushed the victim to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition, police said. No arrests have been made as of this week, officials said. Police released photos Wednesday of the alleged knife-wielding robber-last seen in a black mask and red bubble jacket-and urged tips to the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish."
