Man killed by SFPD officers in Tenderloin fired first, videos show

The videos presented show 28-year-old Alexander Antonio Lopez firing at officers while running away before being shot. Lopez had aimed a shot at Officer Paul Balza, who then shot him three times, causing Lopez to collapse on the street.
Police yelled at Lopez not to reach for the gun as he lay wounded on the street. Despite no resistance, officers approached Lopez with shields and guns trained on him. Lopez was eventually detained and provided medical care but succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
