Emergency services were called to Bluffer's Park Beach after reports of a person in distress about 150 metres from shore, where the man was found on a deflated inflatable flotation device.
The search for the man involved Toronto police's marine unit, firefighters, and civilian boaters, and lasted approximately 90 minutes before he was located.
