A 21-year-old man, Kindle Akinola, was arrested one day after fatally shooting 24-year-old Ramel Ingram near Prospect Park. The shooting occurred just before 9 p.m. Wednesday in front of Ingram’s apartment on Crooke Ave. near Ocean Ave. in Flatbush. Ingram was shot multiple times in the chest and was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died from his wounds. Akinola was taken into custody Thursday afternoon and faces murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges. The two men were neighbors living only a few blocks apart near the southeastern corner of Prospect Park.
