A 25-year-old man, Emanuel Yakubov, was arrested for stealing a ceremonial sword and bullhorn from St. John's basketball head coach Rick Pitino's office.
Pitino expressed his disappointment, stating, 'Taking my memorabilia is one thing but the 1985 6L Petrus Pomerol has me livid!!!' emphasizing his anger over the stolen wine.
The theft involved two individuals unauthorizedly entering the athletics offices, leading to the loss of $375 worth of Pitino's memorabilia, which included personal items.
Surveillance footage captured the suspects walking with the stolen items, leading authorities to arrest Yakubov, while the second suspect remains at large.
