John Clarke, who led the Irish International advertising agency, shared a profound bond with broadcaster Marian Finucane, marrying in 2015 after three decades together. In 2020, tragedy struck as he discovered Finucane dead at home post their holiday. His memoir, released in 2023, details their intricate relationship, portraying her as both a public figure and a private thinker. Clarke, noted for his candid reflections on grief and family, also battled cancer after the memoir’s release, surviving by his four children.
