Irish tourist hospitalised after 60-metre fall during hike in Argentina
Briefly

The Irish tourist slipped on the ice on the trail to Laguna de los Tres, suffering a 60-meter fall through ice, snow and rocks until he hit a tree.
Around half a dozen tourists who were nearby helped him while others raised the alarm after encountering a guide who confirmed a stretcher was needed for evacuation.
The emergency operation, which lasted until nearly midnight, took seven hours and involved 15 people, on top of the six who had initially helped the injured man.
