Ian Gelder, the British actor known for his role in Game of Thrones as Kevan Lannister, has died at the age of 74. His husband, fellow actor Ben Daniels, announced his death on social media after Gelder was diagnosed with bile duct cancer.
Over his 50-year career, Gelder appeared in various TV shows such as Doctor Who, Torchwood, and a television adaptation of His Dark Materials. He started acting in the 1970s and was last seen on screen in the TV show Father Brown.
