Hon. Adam Silvera appointed deputy chief administrative judge for New York City courts

He added that Silvera is an exemplary member of New York's judiciary, admired for his fairness and collegiality as he navigated numerous operational challenges over the past three years as the administrative judge of New York County's Supreme Court-Civil Term in Manhattan.
"I am eager to work with him in his new capacity in our efforts to meet the varied and evolving justice needs of those served by the trial courts throughout the city's five boroughs," Zayas continued, emphasizing the importance of adaptability in the judicial system.
Justice Silvera's judicial career, which began in 2014, showcased his breadth of experience through roles in the Family Court and as an acting Supreme Court justice, where he handled complex family and civil matters.
