Gov. Kathy Hochul has signed legislation protecting New York telehealth doctors from anti-abortion states on the eve of the one-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.The Democratic governor described the new law as a direct challenge to states that have dramatically limited or outright outlawed abortions following the bombshell 2022 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson.
