"The excitement and the revenue generated by New York's sports wagering has exceeded all expectations," commission chairman Brian O'Dwyer told The Post.
"Overall, the sportsbooks won a whopping $176.4 million from bettors in October, as both the Mets and Yankees went deep into the postseason but ultimately lost to the champion Los Angeles Dodgers."
"Of the revenue generated by mobile sports wagering in the Empire State so far this year, $595.4 million has been allocated to fund public education aid, according to the commission."
