"STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The FDNY said it extinguished a fire in West Brighton early Saturday afternoon. According to a department spokesperson, the FDNY received a call for a fire on the second floor of 514 Broadway around 11:38 a.m. In total, 12 units consisting of 60 Fire and EMS personnel responded to the site, as noted by the spokesperson."
"No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, the FDNY said. First responders were able to get the fire under control by 12:04 p.m., the spokesperson told the Advance/SILive.com. In the wake of the fire, damage was visible on the side of the second floor of the building towards the rear. The cause of the fire remains under investigation."
