"It was the worst atrocity to Jews since the Holocaust. Israel is not the same anymore," Norber said, noting its constant wartime footing as he recalled the events of October 7.
"I should do whatever I can to prevent that from happening here," Norber expressed, emphasizing the personal connection he feels to both the Jewish community and the ongoing antisemitism.
Norber remarked that Silitti suffered backlash for not being sensitive to Israel's plight, asserting she was out of touch with the community's concerns.
"My grandparents survived the Holocaust, and my mother fled from communism in the former Soviet Union," Norber reflected on his family's history and its impact on his beliefs.
