Suzanne Kimberly Bracker expressed that Porter was a private person who would not want such details publicly disclosed, especially about her life with Combs. Bracker strongly believes Kim would be resentful of the portrayal being made of her posthumously.
"Puffy was jealous, and he was obsessed with Kim," to the point of having her followed constantly, said Bracker, highlighting the controlling nature of Combs during their nearly decade-long relationship. This obsession extended to hiring private investigators, demonstrating a level of mistrust and control that would not be characteristic of a healthy relationship.
"There was no way in hell she would want a book published," Bracker said of "Kim's Lost Words," emphasizing Kim’s commitment to privacy and self-respect. This indicates that the content attributed to her in the memoir is inconsistent with her established character and values.
"Kim never gave even an interview about her private life," said Bracker, reaffirming Porter's dedication to her family's privacy. This further solidifies the assertion that any memoir claiming to express her thoughts and experiences is fundamentally misleading and does not reflect her true wishes.
