The East London Coroner's Court is investigating David Church's death, believed to be linked to potential asbestos exposure at work, raising concerns about his living conditions.
Senior coroner Graeme Irvine highlighted the need to explore the circumstances of Mr Church's death, particularly the extent of asbestos exposure during his working life.
The post-mortem findings indicated that Mr Church's death was associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchopneumonia, and pulmonary fibrosis, all potentially linked to asbestos.
