On Sept. 21 just before 10 p.m. a burglar entered a Planet Fitness on 86th Street in Bensonhurst through the roof and stole $450 from the register, then escaped back through the roof. A few hours later at 1 a.m. the same burglar broke through the door of a business on 86th Street in Bay Ridge, took merchandise and money, and escaped through the basement. Both incidents occurred on 86th Street in separate Brooklyn neighborhoods. Police are seeking information and request that anyone with tips call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
