"BROOKLYN, NY - The suspect in a violent antisemitic attack in Brooklyn has been caught, according to police. Police said 23-year-old Armani Charles is facing multiple hate-crime charges in connection with a Dec. 16 incident in Crown Heights involving 35-year-old Elias Rosner. Investigators said Charles began shouting antisemitic remarks after encountering Rosner near the intersection of Kingston Avenue and Lincoln Place around 4 p.m."
"The confrontation intensified when Charles allegedly produced a knife and stabbed Rosner, police said. Rosner, whom local community patrols identified as Jewish, suffered a single stab wound to the chest and was transported to Kings County Hospital Center in stable condition before later being released. Charles, who lives in East New York, faces assault, aggravated harassment, menacing and hate crime charges for the attack, police said."
On Dec. 16 in Crown Heights, a confrontation near Kingston Avenue and Lincoln Place escalated when a 23-year-old man allegedly shouted antisemitic remarks at 35-year-old Elias Rosner and produced a knife. Rosner sustained a single stab wound to the chest, was transported to Kings County Hospital Center in stable condition, and was later released. The suspect, identified as Armani Charles of East New York, was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment, menacing and multiple hate-crime counts. Local community patrols identified Rosner as Jewish. The incident occurred around 4 p.m.
