"Police are looking for an armed thief who stole DVDs from a vendor in Coney Island early this month."
"The incident happened on Nov. 6 near Mermaid Avenue and West 29th Street. The 39-year-old vendor attempted to confront the thief, who took off with the merchandise without paying. That was when police said the thief took out a firearm and fired some shots."

An armed thief stole DVDs from a vendor in Coney Island on Nov. 6 near Mermaid Avenue and West 29th Street. The 39-year-old vendor tried to confront the thief after the merchandise was taken without payment. The thief produced a firearm and fired several shots during the confrontation.
