
"BROOKLYN, NY- Police are investigating overnight break-ins at an apartment building in Bushwick where two homes were entered and one man was injured, according to the New York City Police Department. The incidents occurred just after 2:15 a.m. Monday inside a building on Myrtle Avenue near Stockholm Street. Investigators said three to four men entered the apartment of a 62-year-old man through the front door, displayed firearms and took property."
"Police said the same group then entered a second apartment in the building, occupied by a 27-year-old man. The suspects again entered through the front door, showed guns and removed property, investigators said. The 27-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his face. Emergency medical services treated him at the scene, and police said he was in stable condition. A police source confirmed that a dog was removed from the second apartment. Police have not released additional details about the animal."
