With Brown seemingly a healthy scratch, and with guard Cole Strange on injured reserve, the left side of New England's O-line will be manned by Vederian Lowe and Atonio Mafi. Looking at both their seasons so far, it is clear that pass protection will be a major concern against a Bills defense ranking third in the NFL with 50 sacks.
Lowe, who will start at left tackle in place of Brown, has given up a team-high 29 quarterback pressures this season despite only starting six games. Mafi, meanwhile, is ranked second on that list with 26 in four starts.
