Patriots enter next phase of 2025 offseason workout program
Briefly

The New England Patriots are embarking on the second phase of their voluntary offseason workout program at Gillette Stadium, set to take place over the next three weeks. Unlike the previous phase, which was limited to meetings and strength training, this phase includes on-field workouts with full coaching staff involvement. Drills and play simulations will allow offensive and defensive players to practice against each other, though contact is not permitted. Head coach Mike Vrabel expressed optimism about the players' eagerness to learn new systems as they prepare for organized team activities starting May 19.
This is a unique time; we had a couple of extra weeks. I would say the attitude has been great, the work has been great, and the guys are hungry to learn the new systems.
I think it's really good. We're off to a great start. Change is inevitable every year in this league. They are excited for that.
