Patriots DC Terrell Williams missing rookie minicamp due to medical condition
Briefly

The New England Patriots are beginning their 2025 rookie minicamp, but defensive coordinator Terrell Williams will not be present due to a medical condition. Head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed that Williams is maintaining contact with players and staff remotely. Having reunited earlier this offseason with Vrabel, whom he previously worked alongside in Tennessee, Williams’s responsibilities will be temporarily overseen by inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr. While no timeline for Williams's return was provided, the team indicated he would address fans via video later in the day.
Terrell's eager to get back, and we're excited to get him back. He's still been in contact with the players through Zoom, and with myself and the rest of the coaching staff.
I just feel like Zak has a great knowledge of what we've done here in the past with me and this system and Terrell.
Vrabel mentioned that he would not provide any timeline for Williams, but that he would be made available by the team later on Friday.
Williams arrived in New England earlier this offseason to reunite with Vrabel, having previously worked together in Tennessee.
