Mike Vrabel, a top head-coaching candidate, has accepted a multi-year deal with the New England Patriots, reuniting with a former team and rival.
Vrabel, previously head coach of the Tennessee Titans with a 54-45 record, helped lead the AFC South team to the 2019 AFC Championship Game.
After being dismissed by the Titans, Vrabel worked as a consultant for the Cleveland Browns before taking over as head coach for the Patriots.
The New York Jets, who are in search of a new head coach, interviewed Mike Vrabel, among others, before he accepted the Patriots’ offer.
