Jerod Mayo confident in WR Tyquan Thornton entering Patriots training camp
Briefly

Tyquan is one of those guys - physically he has all the tools... he just has to put it all together, and I feel very confident... to get him to the point where he can make an impact for our team.
Thornton was selected 50th overall by the Patriots in the 2021 draft, but due to injuries has seen action in only 22 of a possible 34 games over the last two seasons.
After scoring two touchdowns on seven touches in his second career game, he never managed to become a regular member of New England's wide receiver rotation.
The Patriots did use him as their No. 1 X-receiver in the spring. If he can build on that momentum... he could just sneak onto the roster after all.
