CBS News Fires Back at Bill Belichick, Says He Agreed to No Preconditions or Limitations' for Interview
Briefly

Bill Belichick expressed dissatisfaction with CBS News following an interview on CBS Sunday Morning meant to promote his memoir. He claimed the network used selectively-edited clips that misrepresented the conversation, which included his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson. During the interview, Hudson intervened when unrelated topics arose, aiming to keep the focus on the book. Belichick emphasized that he had requested the discussion to center around his memoir, stating that the portrayal in clips made them seem evasive on certain questions.
I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning Lessons from My Life in Football.
Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced.
Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.
Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question or making it unsatisfactory, which is not true.
