Mike Vrabel is absolutely the leading candidate to eventually land the job. He is a logical choice, and it would probably be a surprise if it didn't work out.
Do I think that the Patriots hold a tremendous amount of appeal to him? Yes. Do I think he to them? Yes. Is it logical? Of course.
There are steps to go through, there's a process that has to be followed. I don't think it's going to be a quick resolution this week.
Things happen, and there is a lot of interest in Mike. You can go through any number of coaching searches over time and see surprises.
