5 things we learned from the Mike Vrabel pre-draft press conference
Briefly

In a recent press conference, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel emphasized the team's approach to the upcoming NFL Draft, focusing on selecting the best player available while also considering positional needs. Vrabel highlighted the importance of character and leadership qualities in players, asserting their influence on team culture. As the Patriots hold the No. 4 overall pick, they are seeking premium talent to enhance their roster, while clarifying that they are not pursuing a quarterback this draft.
We certainly want to pick the best player as many times as we can. The player that we think at that point is the best player and then we'll figure it out.
It's a complete package. It's about the player and it's about the person, and most importantly, I think for me, the vision that we have for them and the impact that they're going to make.
During an active free agency period, New England made sure to put an emphasis on those high character individuals - in addition to good football players.
There are certainly players we covet at every level. Where we're drafting there's a handful of guys. We're not in the market for a quarterback.
