The Washington Capitals have acquired forward Andrew Mangiapane from the Calgary Flames in exchange for a second-round draft selection in the 2025 NHL Draft.
Mangiapane had 40 points (14g, 26a) in 75 games for the Flames last season and has one year remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $5.8 million.
Andrew Mangiapane, acquired by WSH, is an offensive middle six winger, hoping to regain his form with the Capitals. Washington obtained the second-round pick from Colorado by trading Lars Eller.
