The decision came after the Blues placed him on waivers, having struggled to trade him for several months. At 32 years old, Saad's season has been disappointing, recording only 16 points with a low shooting percentage. Previously, he found success with the Chicago Blackhawks, winning two Stanley Cups in his prime.
