"The San Jose Sharks played their most complete game of the season on Thursday as six players each scored a goal and goalie Yaroslav Askarov had another impressive start in net in a 6-1 romp over the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. Macklin Celebrini had a goal and two assists, and Will Smith, John Klingberg, and Tyler Toffoli each had a goal and an assist as the Sharks won for the fifth time in eight games."
"Askarov made 36 saves in San Jose's 3-2 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Against the Kraken, Askarov had 14 saves in the first two periods and 15 in the third as the Sharks improved to 3-3-0 on the road this season. A lot of that success on the road has to do with the production from Celebrini. With his three-point effort on Thursday, Celebrini now has a league-leading 15 points in six road games, and with 21 points this season, is tied for the NHL lead in scoring with Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers."
"Celebrini scored his eighth goal of the season just 1:08 into the first period, then assisted on Klingberg's power play goal at the 11:21 mark of the second period. The Sharks had a 2-1 lead after the first period on goals by Celebrini and Cardwell, with Cardwell's go-ahead goal coming at the 18:42 mark. The Kraken turned the puck over at the Sharks' blue line, and rookie defenseman Sam Dickinson poked the loose puck ahead to Jeff Skinner."
The San Jose Sharks beat the Seattle Kraken 6-1 at Climate Pledge Arena with six different goal scorers and a strong performance from goalie Yaroslav Askarov. Macklin Celebrini scored and added two assists, while Will Smith, John Klingberg, Tyler Toffoli, Ethan Cardwell, and Ty Dellandrea also scored. Dellandrea's shorthanded goal and Toffoli's goal 30 seconds later created a decisive third-period surge. Askarov made 14 saves through two periods and 15 in the third, totaling an impressive outing. Celebrini now has 21 points this season and shares the NHL scoring lead with Connor McDavid.
