
"San Jose Sharks center Michael Misa is again injured and will miss the start of Canada's training camp for the upcoming World Junior Hockey championship, Hockey Canada announced Friday. Misa is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and remains in San Jose while he continues to be evaluated. He is expected to join the Canadian team sometime during training camp, which continues until Dec. 22."
"Misa, 18, began a conditioning assignment with the San Jose Barracuda last week and played with the Sharks' AHL affiliate on Friday and Saturday at Tech CU Arena, collecting one assist. He did not play in the Barracudas' last game on Wednesday against the San Diego Gulls. Misa had just returned from a right ankle injury he sustained during a Sharks morning skate on Nov. 5 in Seattle."
