Ryan Leonard and Pierre-Luc Dubois, looking like a father and son, attend Washington Wizards game
""I was extremely lucky when he offered it," Leonard said in April. "It's just a situation you can't really pass [up].""
""I always knew [having a younger player as a roommate] was something that I'd like to do one day," Dubois explained in September. "Obviously you can't force it, and (Leonard) came up last year. Everybody told me that he's a great kid, really nice, super respectful, so it was an easy decision to make." He added, "My wife tells me that when he leaves, my age level goes up. But it's fun having him around.""
""Two kids in the house and three dogs would be a lot," Dubois quipped."
Injured Capitals forwards Pierre-Luc Dubois and Ryan Leonard attended a Washington Wizards game at Capital One Arena, dressed alike in matching jerseys, white undershirts, and jeans. The pair were introduced to the crowd and waved together, amplifying their twinning look. Dubois opened his home to Leonard when Leonard first signed with the team out of Boston College, and the two became close friends and roommates through last season and training camp. Leonard said he felt extremely lucky to be offered the arrangement. Leonard later moved into his own place as Dubois and his girlfriend prepare for a child.
