Report: 3-on-3 pro hockey league coming to North America this fall with $30 million salary cap
Briefly

A brand new, fully 3-on-3 pro hockey league named Major League Hockey is reportedly set to launch in North America this fall.
The league will consist of 16 teams with 14 players (12 skaters, 2 goalies) on each team. Teams will be located in both Canada and the United States, with two regions having two teams.
Each MLH team can spend up to $30 million, allowing players to make an average of $2.1 million if teams reach the cap. Teams can sign three 'marquee players' with experience from various regions and will also feature college, major junior, and 'qualified' women's players.
Every win in the league will earn a team a $100,000 bonus, with salaries totaling half a billion dollars for the players alone, not including contracts for coaches, staff, or bonuses.
