The 2024 NHL Draft Lottery will determine the order of selection for the first 16 picks in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
The San Jose Sharks, who finished with a 19-54-9 record, will have the best odds (18.5 percent) at getting the first overall selection.
Utah, the newest home to a team in the NHL, will also receive their first-ever draft selection in the lottery. The unnamed former Arizona Coyotes will play their first season in 2024-25.
The NHL also announced that the 2024 NHL Scouting Combine, showcasing the top draft-eligible prospects, will be held from June 2-8 at KeyBank Center and LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo, New York.
