MultiVersus characters will play alongside NHL stars in the MultiVersus NHL Face-Off match, with special avatars for some players, and the Tasmanian Devil providing commentary.
The ice rink will transform to different MultiVersus stages, including the Space Jam court, the Tree Fort from Adventure Time, and the Trophy's E.D.G.E. arena, during the game.
NHL EDGE and Hawk-Eye Innovation's tracking technologies work together to overlay animated characters on the live game action, with Beyond Sports handling real-time animation.
