Nick Robertson drew a penalty that led to Auston Matthews' third power-play goal, tying the game with about three minutes remaining. Dakota Joshua scored off the following face-off, giving Toronto the lead. The two goals were scored eight seconds apart, marking the fourth-fastest in team history. Joseph Woll returned to the crease with a strong performance and helped enable the comeback. This was the Leafs' second comeback win this season.
