Joe Snively signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Detroit Red Wings after leaving the Washington Capitals organization following six seasons, two of which ended in Calder Cup championships with the Hershey Bears.
Snively, Hershey's leading scorer in the regular season and a strong playoff performer, has played 27 NHL games, scoring his first NHL goal in 2022. He attracted interest from the KHL before joining the Red Wings.
