And I'm like, 'Will, I'm not sleeping over, like I'm 32 years old like it doesn't happen anymore'"
"Nope, it's going to happen I feel it. We're all going to score,"
"Long story, short, we ended up playing really well in Buffalo and I scored the empty net goal, whatever, with like 30 or 40 seconds left... As soon as it went in I went to the bench and I was laughing, I didn't even realize all three of us sco"
The San Jose Sharks will hand out a dual bobblehead of Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith in hotel beds to all fans who enter SAP Center on October 9 for the opening game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Fans can purchase a Tyler Toffoli bobblehead showing him in a cot for $35 as a limited add-on with only 1,000 available at the arena. All proceeds from the Toffoli bobblehead sales will go to the Sharks Foundation. The bobblehead designs reference Celebrini, Smith and Toffoli's postgame sleepover after the March 4 victory over the Buffalo Sabres during the 2024-25 season. Toffoli explained the backstory on the "Never Offside with Julie and Cat" podcast, describing Smith's bet that if all three scored he would have to sleep over. Toffoli said he initially resisted but Smith insisted he felt they would all score, and Toffoli later scored the empty-net goal with roughly 30 to 40 seconds remaining. The giveaway blends a viral locker-room moment with a collectible promotion and includes a charitable component through limited Toffoli bobblehead sales.
