David Pastrnak has overcome his early-season struggles, now shining as one of the NHL’s elite scorers. Since January 1, he leads the league with 14 goals and 28 points in 2025. His standout performance on Saturday included a hat-trick against the Rangers, showcasing his high-level play. Pastrnak credited his success to strong line chemistry, particularly with Morgan Geekie, and displayed impressive shooting skills with a remarkable one-timer goal. This ongoing performance highlights his critical role in the Bruins’ offensive strategy as the season progresses.
I was definitely shooting blocker-side. Honestly, I knew we had a 3-on-2 quick, so I was a little hesitant if I should shoot that. But, Potsy put it right in my wheelhouse. So I decided to just shoot it. And, luckily it went in.
[Geekie] did a heck of a job being strong on the puck. And as soon as he held on to it for one second or two, then I knew he was gonna try to find me. So just try to get open. Great job by him.
