The Buffalo Sabres' playoff drought extended to 13 seasons, setting an NHL record. The New York Jets share the top spot but hold the longest active playoff drought in major American professional sports.
The Sabres last appeared in the playoffs on April 26, 2011, shortly after Terry Pegula's ownership. Tyler Myers is the only player from the 2011 roster still active in the NHL.
