The Kansas City Chiefs arrived in São Paulo to a celebrity-like reception with hundreds of fans gathering at the international airport. Many fans had never seen an NFL game in person and chanted players' names, filmed videos and held signs for both stars and rookies. Travis Kelce interacted directly with supporters, high-fiving and applauding the welcome. Coach Andy Reid noticed many children wearing Chiefs jerseys. The visit precedes the international season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, marking the Chiefs' fourth international game in 11 years. Patrick Mahomes expressed excitement about growing American football worldwide and playing for the fans.
