Vikes' Jefferson: '25 one of most difficult seasons
"the frustration and the emotions definitely were high after the game,"
"No, I wouldn't say wasted,"
"Obviously it's a difficult season. It's probably one of the most difficult seasons just off of the circumstances, having a young quarterback, having a different team, having young players on the team. So it's just one of those years. Not every year is going to be a top tier year for me. It's really a part of the game, so it's just all on me to expect a lot from these guys and to improve on anything that we need to improve on as an offense."
The Minnesota Vikings are 4-8 after a 26-0 loss to Seattle. Justin Jefferson sat despondent on a water cooler and skipped his postgame press conference for the first time. Jefferson said frustration and emotions were high but did not call his career wasted. He has averaged 46 receiving yards in seven games with J.J. McCarthy and Max Brosmer, down from a career average of 96.5 yards per game. Jefferson will finish his sixth season without a playoff win. He called the season difficult because of a young quarterback, roster turnover and younger teammates and urged offensive improvement.
