Mike Tomlin expects Aaron Rodgers to be ready for next week's game against the Buffalo Bills after Rodgers fractured his left wrist against the Cincinnati Bengals. Rodgers was not active against the Chicago Bears and did not serve as the emergency third quarterback. Mason Rudolph started at quarterback and received increased reps during the week. Rodgers sat out Wednesday's practice, wore a wrist stabilizer, and was a limited participant Thursday and Friday. Tomlin decided Saturday that Rodgers would not play and informed Rudolph he would start. Some teammates, including center Zach Frazier, learned Sunday that Rodgers would not play and said preparation remained unchanged.
