Source: Seahawks to re-sign CB Josh Jobe to 3-year deal
"Jobe, 27, rose from an undrafted free agent to a reliable No. 2 corner for the Seahawks, who boasted the league's best scoring defense. He only intercepted one pass in 16 regular-season games last year for the Super Bowl-champion Seahawks, but his coverage metrics were strong."
"According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Jobe allowed only 5.4 yards per target and a 47.7% completion rate in 2025. Those were both fourth-best among 61 cornerbacks who were targeted at least 50 times. His 71.1 passer rating allowed was fifth-best."
"Jobe began his career with the Philadelphia Eagles after going undrafted in 2022 out of Alabama, where he won a national championship. He appeared in 28 games with three starts over two seasons in Philadelphia before he was waived on cut-down day in 2024."
Josh Jobe, 27, signed a three-year, $24 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks. The cornerback rose from undrafted free agent status to become a key defensive contributor for the league's best scoring defense. In 2025, Jobe allowed only 5.4 yards per target and a 47.7% completion rate, ranking fourth among 61 cornerbacks targeted at least 50 times. His 71.1 passer rating allowed ranked fifth-best. Originally drafted by Philadelphia in 2022 out of Alabama, Jobe was waived in 2024 before joining Seattle's practice squad. He earned promotion to the active roster in November and eventually overtook Riq Woolen as the Seahawks' No. 2 corner, recording 12 passes defended in the regular season.
