"The Seahawks and Cross have agreed to terms on a four-year, $104.4 million extension that includes $75 million in guarantees, a source confirmed to ESPN on Sunday. Cross, 25, was signed through 2026 after the Seahawks picked up his fifth-year option, which was set to pay him $17.56 million. So, his new contract is for five years and a total of $121.96 million."
"Cross represented himself when he signed his rookie contract, then hired Klutch Sports in 2025. The Seahawks drafted Cross ninth overall out of Mississippi State in 2022. They drafted right tackle Abe Lucas in the third round that year and gave him a three-year extension this past summer, so they now have the bookends of their offensive line both locked up for the long term."
Charles Cross agreed to a four-year, $104.4 million extension with $75 million guaranteed. The Seahawks picked up his fifth-year option, making the total commitment five years and $121.96 million. The new-money average of $26.1 million ranks Cross as the NFL's third-highest-paid left tackle. Cross, 25, was the ninth overall pick out of Mississippi State in 2022 and has started 62 of 68 regular-season games. He missed the last three games with a hamstring injury but is expected to return for the divisional round. The Seahawks also secured long-term bookends on the offensive line after extending right tackle Abe Lucas.
